’s (Caroline Dhavernas ) will-they-won’t-they love interest. Eric is introduced in Episode 1, “Wax Lion,” when we learn that six days earlier, he had arrived in Niagara Falls on his honeymoon with his new wife, Heidi (Jewell Stait ). One evening, Eric returned to the honeymoon suite to find Heidi “servicing” the bellman. Heartbroken and unsure of what to do, Eric stumbled into The Barrel, where he sat and drank for three days straight, after which the owner offered him a job bartending. Eric and Jaye strike up an easy friendship early on, during which time Eric makes it clear that his interest in Jaye is more than friendly. Just as Jaye begins to explore her feelings for Eric, Heidi shows up on the scene to lay her claim on him.
